CHOC and CHOC at Mission were voted the Best Places to Volunteer in the 2006 Orange County Register Reader's Poll
There is no greater reward than being able to
help a sick child.
The volunteers at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC)
generously donate their time to help us provide the very
best pediatric services in Orange County. For more than 40
years, the volunteer programs at CHOC and CHOC at Mission
have provided vital assistance to all hospital departments.
In Setpember 2006, we were voted “The Best Place to
Volunteer" by the Orange County Register!
We currently have a team of 500 volunteers who give more
than 4500 hours a month and save the hospital nearly $1 million
annually. Our program offers many unique opportunities, and
we are always looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, energetic,
qualified and committed individuals of all ages and backgrounds
to join our team. We hope you will consider submitting an
application to become a CHOC volunteer. Whether you are motivated
by a desire to help out in your community, are looking for
exposure to careers in the health care field, or simply want
to "give back", you will find your volunteer experience
a rewarding and exciting one.

Please note: Due to the popularity
of our program, we often experience delays of up to 3 months
before we can evaluate
applications and schedule interviews for selected applicants.
However, all applications are considered on a first-come,
first-served basis so we encourage you to submit your application
in a timely manner.
